Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj College of Engineering central library was set up in 2011. Library plays vital role in teaching learning process. Library provides knowledge to all faculty and students. Library is an essential component of learning, research and education mission. The Central Library is located on the ground floor and is spread over the area 429.96 sq. m., with the reading hall having seating capacity of 180 students. The library is automated with the library software ‘e-vidya: Library Management System’ which includes: Acquisition, Accessioning, OPAC, Barcode, Issue/Return of books, Periodical record, and various types of reports etc. It helps in accessing a wide range of materials. The central library is divided in various sections such as: Circulation section (Issue/Return), e- Library, Reprographic section, Journals section, Newspaper section, Stacking Section, Spacious Reading Hall etc.

Central library is consisting with good collection of reference / text books, handbooks and journals related to the field of engineering, it has about 3804 titles, 12782 volumes.
